Catherine Conner had a fantastic meeting at wombwell only her 2nd time
out on the Arrow X1 she won the final and the winter championship after starting 3rd on the grid due to strong heat finishes Catherine claimed that the kart was a dream to drive and with such positive handling it gave her the confidence to challenge for the victory.
Mathew Booth won the junior max final after a last lap tussle, and
Louis Bradley finishing 3rd setting the fastest lap a great shame as Louis had to come off the rear of the grid due to a DNF in a heat this could so easily of been an Arrow One, Two.
Peter Sharrocks finished 3rd in Mini Max after also having good strong heats Peter will surely be one to watch after he has just moved up from cadets.
Whilst Arrow karts were grabbing the glory at wombwell 200 miles south at Kimbolton, Luke Hughes in Minimax won both his heats to start on pole for the final also taking a lights to flag victory setting fastest lap along the way, Luke lapped every lap from lap 2 to the flag within a tenth and half showing that the Arrow X1 set up and balance was perfect and is well suited to long runs. Luke commented that the kart came on the first lap and was still as strong at the flag.
All the Arrow kart drivers were using the latest 2010 WR Rotax engines along with carbs set up on computerised dyno
